Political parties react as court halts impeachment proceedings until September.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has succeeded in his urgent application to interdict Parliament's Section 89 Impeachment inquiry. The Western Cape High Court has ordered that the impeachment committee's proceedings be halted pending the outcome of the President's review application challenging the Section 89 Independent Panel report, which found that  he may have a      case to answer, in the theft of 580-thousand US dollars on his Phala Phala farm. in 2020.  The ruling has temporarily halted the work of the committee.
