Pool Side Miracle: A Family's Faith and a Community’s Love – My Guests, Arnell Morris, Isaac Morris and Little Arnell. “Faith is the strength by which a shattered world shall emerge into light.” ~ H. Keller This week’s story is about a little boy that drowned in a pool and is a story that plays out dozens of times across America every year.  Unfortunately, most do not turn out the way this one did.  My guest Arnell Morris is a former paramedic student of mine from 12 years ago and is currently a firefighter/paramedic with the City of Memphis Fire Department.  In addition, he is a pastor at Messiah Fellowship Memphis. Speaking from experience as a firefighter/paramedic for many years, it always seemed like anytime there was some kind family emergency I was always on duty at the station.  Today’s story happened just like that. Arnell shares how he was at work at the fire station when he suddenly got a call telling him that his son, little Arnell had been in accident and he needed to get to the hospital.  The one thing that gave him some comfort, was hearing his son speaking in the background of the call. It was at the hospital that he learned that his son had drowned in the pool and a lady at the pool party had pulled him from the bottom of the pool and started CPR prior to the ambulance arriving.
