I earned my Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University, solidifying a strong foundation in both fields. In my free time, you can find me at the gym or indulging in my love for board sports. Whether it’s surfing the waves or snowboarding down the slopes, I cherish every moment spent outdoors. With over a decade of experience in the strength and conditioning arena, I have dedicated my career to working primarily with strength athletes, focusing on CrossFit, Olympic Weightlifting, and Powerlifting. My personal journey has been shaped by two major surgeries, which taught me the importance of discipline and perseverance in recovering from significant setbacks. The founding of Power in Movement was born out of my frustration with the inadequate treatments I received from three different providers after my surgeries. I was often told that I would never return to high-level competition and was advised to rest and reduce my activity. These experiences ignited a passion in me to make a difference in the field of physical therapy. My mission is to provide the highest quality care, ensuring that individuals who experience major injuries can return to peak performance levels..________________About the Podcast:The Macro Perspective is hosted by Marcos Rivera and Seamus Sullivan, and was born from a simple but powerful mission: to help people take ownership of their health and lives.
