Shaping Your Soul Week 3: March 31 2025Today, we explored the profound story of Jesus as a 12-year-old in the temple, found in Luke 2:41-52. This narrative offers us a unique glimpse into Jesus' childhood and His growing understanding of His divine identity. The key lesson here is about priorities and obedience - not just for children, but for all of us. We saw how Mary and Joseph made it a priority to expose Jesus to godly community, annually traveling to Jerusalem for Passover. This dedication to spiritual growth is something we're called to emulate in our own lives and families. The passage challenges us to consider: What are our priorities? Are we setting godly examples for those around us? Just as Jesus was found in His Father's house, are we making God's presence a central part of our lives? This story reminds us that our actions often speak louder than our words, especially when it comes to spiritual matters.
