Powerback 50: Let Your Inner Little Girl Out to Play
from The Gutsy Podcast | Mindset, Personal Development & Entrepreneurship for Women · host Laura Wallace | worx&co
Back in episode 48, Kate Blake shared that there is a 4-year old version of ourselves inside of every one of us. When you’re feeling scared, worried, overwhelmed, and concerned, it’s usually her tugging at your leg saying, “I need your help, I’m scared.” As adults, we often shoo her away, tell her to shut up, or invalidate her by ignoring these feelings. Be for yourself who you needed when you were growing up. When you’re feeling scared, stop and listen and comfort her. When you’re worried, ask her what she needs. Let her be the child she needs to be – playful, curious, and full of imagination. When you let her be who she is, you’re allowing yourself to learn, grow, and have fun in life. Let your little one out to play. She’ll remind you what it’s like to smile and fell true happiness. - - -For more inspiration, follow along with us at:thegutsypodcast.comfacebook.com/thatlauraaurainstagram.com/thatlauraauraSupport the showLeave a Review! We love, love, love to read your comments, feedback, and reviews.
