PPI, PMI, and vehicle sales data

Last week, the interesting indicators were only released late in the week and did not make it to the Minute. Today I want to give a brief summary of July's Producer Price inflation figure, ABSA and the Bureau of Economic Research's Purchasing Managers' Index and Naamsa's new vehicle sales figures for August. The figures say something about the demand and the supply side of the economy. This episode is supported by the Bureau for Economic Research in Stellenbosch and the NWU Business School.
