It was a topsy-turvey first hit-out of the pre-season at the Whitten Oval on Friday as our baby Hawks were put to the sword by an experienced Western Bulldogs outfit. Granted the Dogs had an abundance of talent missing from the team that stepped out onto the turf on Friday morning, but that didn’t stop them going to town in the early stages of the match. Down by 40 points at the first break we did manage to claw our way back to be 10 points down at the main break, before again being blown off the park in the third term. Plenty to like, plenty to dislike and in this special bonus pod Brad and Andrew run through their initial thoughts, straight after play concluded.
