Today in Matthew 23 Jesus tells us to practice what we preach. Today we see Jesus stand up to the rulers and say “These guys are hypocrites, snakes, blind, etc..” WOA. Here again, we see how Jesus does NOT like hypocrites. Proverbs 23 4Â Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness. 5Â Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle. 30Â Those who linger over wine, who go to sample bowls of mixed wine. 31Â Do not gaze at wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it goes down smoothly! 32Â In the end it bites like a snake and poisons like a viper.
