How to Build Your Faith
Wanting a stronger faith is not new. In Luke 15 it states, "5 The apostles said to the Lord, "Give us more faith!"" Romans 10:17 states: "17 So faith comes from hearing the Good News. " James 1:22 states, "22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says." 1st Corinthians 10 says, "No temptation[c] has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted[d] beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,[e] he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." Building Muscles When you build muscles, you work them to the point of exhaustion. Your brain retaliates by repairing them and making them bigger than they were before. Body building is not pleasant, but people do it because they know on the other side of the pain, you have bigger muscles. It's not just the exercise, you need to feed your body the right fuel to help repair the muscles. Building Faith Our spiritual food is the bible. We should be eating it every day. When we face trials, and situations, it's painful. When we call upon God, he gives us strength to get through. When we make it through a tough situation, we are stronger, wiser, smarter than we were before. We also have more faith. We now see how God didn't give us more than we can handle, and our faith is bigger.

The Prodigal Podcaster Returns
Maybe it was every preacher I saw telling me how God can do everything (he can), and they he wants to give me everything I want, but when life didn't turn into a paradise for me I got upset. I started to pull away from God. My attitude hit new lows. Nothing improved by moving away from God. Your life is not going to be easy, and the one thing that was getting me through the hard times was God.

Keep It Between You And God
Today I'm looking at Matthew 6 and I notice a pattern. When you do things to make you look good to other people is seems to tarnish your actions. Matthew 6:1-2 (NLT) 1 "Watch out! Don't do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father...

Not Feeling Right With God? Who Moved, You Or God?
So I haven't put out any content since May. Here are some of the reasons. I didn't feel "Worthy" to be behind the microphone talking about God. As a person with TWO divorces under his belt, I can't help but feel God was pissed at me. Jesus says in Matthew 19, "I tell you that...

When God Says No Part 1
We've all had times when we didn't something we wanted. It would be easy to get mad at God and walk away. We feel he doesn't care. The story of Job is one of tremendous suffering, and yet Job stuck with God. Here is chapter 42 it shows Job answered the Lord: 2I know you can do anything; no plan of yours can be opposed successfully. 3You said, “Who is this darkening counsel without knowledge?” I have indeed spoken about things I didn’t understand, wonders beyond my comprehension. 4You said, “Listen and I will speak; I will question you and you will inform me.” 5My ears had heard about you, but now my eyes have seen you. 6Therefore, I relent and find comfort on dust and ashes. Later in verse 12 is shows Then the Lord blessed Job’s latter days more than his former ones. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys. 13He also had seven sons and three daughters. 14He named one Jemimah, a second Keziah, and the third Keren-happuch. 15No women in all the land were as beautiful as Job’s daughters; and their father gave an inheritance to them along with their brothers. 16After this, Job lived 140 years and saw four generations of his children. 17Then Job died, old and satisfied. oday I sahre ab Get great looking, clever, funny, Christian clothes and jewlery at myfaithclothes.com

Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due
Today I'm returning to the SOAP study practice. Scripture Observations Applications Prayer I take a look at Proverbs 3: The parts that jumped out at me was how God is so interested in our hearts, and you see how God is telling us WHY to these items. He is showing us the benefits. Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, 14 for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. 16 Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. 17 Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. 18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed. So when you think of those things you would just love to have (A recliner, an iPhone, etc) they are just NOTHING compared to what wisdom in your life can bring. Building an Environment of Faith
Is there a blueprint for faith. If so, what is it? I'm reading a small book by Kenneth W. Hagin called, "Blueprint for Builing Strong Faith." Its more or less a pamphlet that you can get for $2, or .99 on a kindle. What are You Surrounded by? Is what you are doing, what you are listening to, or watching, is it hurting or helping you create an environment of faith? You may think you don't have faith, but indeed according to Romans 12:3 God gave you faith. Check this out: For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. So we are all given faith. What we do with it is up to each every individual person. Are you sitting in a church that does nothing for you? I did for years. Then I went to another church and my eyes were opened. I could feel God in this place. Faith is an organic thing. It needs fed. It needs nurtured. Right now, my attitude tends to lean toward the negative. Give me 2 seconds and I'll find something to complain about. My wife and I call each other on our way home from our jobs. All we do is explain all the things that went wrong. Can you build faith? Let's look at the disciples. Were these great men of faith? After all they saw his miracles with a front row seat. Yes when he walked on water they freaked out and asked, "What kind of dude walks on water?" Cluesless. In Acts 4:13 it points out how the Pharisees saw them as "unlearned and ignorant men." Yet they were doing the same things Jesus did. Why? Because they had been with Jesus. What an environment! Surround yourself with the word of God, and those things that produce faith.

Becoming Bold
Today guest host Tyler Smith of morethanonelesson.com where they discuss movies from a Christian point of view is coming on to the microphone to share his thoughts on Matthew 25 and the parable of Gold. There are those that think the owner here was a bit harrsh, but as Christians we are entrusted with a gift that we should share so it can grow. We shouldn't hoard it, or worse bury it in the grown. 14 “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. 15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag,[a] each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.16 The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. 17 So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more.18 But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money. 19 “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20 The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’ 21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ 22 “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’ 23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ 24 “Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’ 26 “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 27 Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. 28 “‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags.

You, Spouse, and God
In Luke we know that Jesus is not a fan of divorce. 18 “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another woman is not faithful in marriage and is guilty of sex sins. What Do You Get From Marriage? You get the opportunity to practice forgiveness - in some cases alot. With this in mind, you get to understand what it's like to step in God's shoes and provide grace. To provide forgiveness. Mathew 6:14 14 Yes, if you forgive others for the wrongs they do to you, then your Father in heaven will also forgive your wrongs. (ERV) When You Get Married - It's The Three of You Why is it you, your spouse, and God? Because there are going to be times when you want to let go of your spouse. In those times, don't let go of God. God has your spouse (we are assuming they are holding on to God). If you focus on God, he will lead you back together. You just need to do what is in the book. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 New Life Version (NLV) 4 Love does not give up. Love is kind. Love is not jealous. Love does not put itself up as being important. Love has no pride. 5 Love does not do the wrong thing. Love never thinks of itself. Love does not get angry. Love does not remember the suffering that comes from being hurt by someone. 6 Love is not happy with sin. Love is happy with the truth. 7 Love takes everything that comes without giving up. Love believes all things. Love hopes for all things. Love keeps on in all things. 8 Love never comes to an end. Why Is There So Much Crap In My Life?
3 Let us thank the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It was through His loving-kindness that we were born again to a new life and have a hope that never dies. This hope is ours because Jesus was raised from the dead. 4 We will receive the great things that we have been promised. They are being kept safe in heaven for us. They are pure and will not pass away. They will never be lost. 5 You are being kept by the power of God because you put your trust in Him and you will be saved from the punishment of sin at the end of the world. 6 With this hope you can be happy even if you need to have sorrow and all kinds of tests for awhile. 7 These tests have come to prove your faith and to show that it is good. Gold, which can be destroyed, is tested by fire. Your faith is worth much more than gold and it must be tested also. Then your faith will bring thanks and shining-greatness and honor to Jesus Christ when He comes again. 8 You have never seen Him but you love Him. You cannot see Him now but you are putting your trust in Him. And you have joy so great that words cannot tell about it. 9 You will get what your faith is looking for, which is to be saved from the punishment of sin.

Yes YOU DO Meditate and I Can Prove it
Today I point out that even if you think meditation is stupid, you meditate on things every day. Its those thoughts that shape the way you think and act. Many times its negative. Today we talk about replacing that bad habit with a new one. God Will Never Write You Off While your family and friends may “Write you off,” God never will. Here is the proof: Romans 8:38 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. When You Stay Planted in God You Are Promised to Prosper psalm 92 12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; 13 planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. 14 They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, 15 proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.†Start a New Type of Mediation When you start to worry, and your thoughts start to snowball in a negative way – stop. Pray. Say the words out loud and talk to God. He’s there. He can help. Get a bible. Check out youversion.com and put it on yoru phone or tablet or just use their website. Then take a few minutes every day to find one verse to focus on, and repeat that every day. Today Could Be The Day
Today we look at Matthew 24 Here Jesus does not paint a pretty picture of your life as a Christian: 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. Jesus is Coming Back: Look Busy 42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. Practice What You Preach
Today in Matthew 23 Jesus tells us to practice what we preach. Today we see Jesus stand up to the rulers and say “These guys are hypocrites, snakes, blind, etc..” WOA. Here again, we see how Jesus does NOT like hypocrites. Proverbs 23 4Â Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness. 5Â Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle. 30Â Those who linger over wine, who go to sample bowls of mixed wine. 31Â Do not gaze at wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it goes down smoothly! 32Â In the end it bites like a snake and poisons like a viper. Silence Your Critics
Today’s scripture is from Matthew 22 Today we try to imagine what a pain in the butt it was to be stalked by the Pharisees. Every time he turned around, there they were trying to trick him. In the end, because he knew the bible, he was able to silence them. We will see on Wednesday how he had really had enough of these guys, but for now he calmly answered their questions until they couldn’t ask any more. We will be tried. We will be tested, and if stand strong to our belief we will silence our critics. Get great looking, clever, funny, Christian clothes and jewlery at myfaithclothes.com

Jesus Speaks - And It Happens
Matthew 21 Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.†6 The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them. 7 They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!â€Â Immediately the tree withered. 20 When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?†they asked. “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. 32 For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him. When Jesus Speaks – It’s True When Jesus spoke it was true. It’s amazing. He told his crew to go to a town and there will be a donkey there. There were no cell phones to call ahead. He spoke to a tree and it withered. There is power in the words of Jesus, and he says his father loves you, and has a plan for you. Get great looking, clever, funny, Christian clothes and jewlery at myfaithclothes.com

That’s Not Fair
Today’s lesson is on Matthew 20 and Proverbs 20 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard.2 He agreed to pay them a denarius[a] for the day and sent them into his vineyard. 3 “About nine in the morning he went out and saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing. 4 He told them, ‘You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.’ 5 So they went. “He went out again about noon and about three in the afternoon and did the same thing. 6 About five in the afternoon he went out and found still others standing around. He asked them, ‘Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?’ 7 “‘Because no one has hired us,’ they answered. “He said to them, ‘You also go and work in my vineyard.’ 8 “When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last ones hired and going on to the first.’ 9 “The workers who were hired about five in the afternoon came and each received a denarius. 10 So when those came who were hired first, they expected to receive more. But each one of them also received a denarius. 11 When they received it, they began to grumble against the landowner. 12 ‘These who were hired last worked only one hour,’ they said, ‘and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.’ 13 “But he answered one of them, ‘I am not being unfair to you, friend. Didn’t you agree to work for a denarius? 14 Take your pay and go. I want to give the one who was hired last the same as I gave you. 15 Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?’ 16 “So the last will be first, and the first will be last.†Proverbs 20 It is to one’s honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel. Plans are established by seeking advice; so if you wage war, obtain guidance. Do not say, “I’ll pay you back for this wrong!†Wait for the Lord, and he will avenge you. Accept Your Agreement - Overlook an Offense
Today’s scripture is Matthew 19 and Proverbs 19 Matthew 19 – Jesus Talks About Marriage When Jesus had finished saying these things, he left Galilee and went into the region of Judea to the other side of the Jordan. 2 Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there. 3 Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?†4 “Haven’t you read,â€Â he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’[a] 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’[b]? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.†7 “Why then,†they asked, “did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?†8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.†10 The disciples said to him, “If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry.†11 Jesus replied, “Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. 12 For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others—and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.†Proverbs 19 A false witness will not go unpunished, and whoever pours out lies will not go free. A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense. A foolish child is a father’s ruin, and a quarrelsome wife is like the constant dripping of a leaky roof. God is Looking For You
Today we take a peak at Matthew 18 and Proverbs 18 We hear the seriousness of causing people to stumble. Jesus says if you are doing something to make yourself go down a wrong path, do whatever it takes to stop. Cut off your hand, your foot, your eye. That’s pretty serious. Later we hear how no matter what you’ve done, God is looking for you. He will be SO happy when he is reunited with you. Proverbs 18 To answer before listening— that is folly and shame. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Nothing is Impossible
Today we focus on Matthew 17 and Proverbs 17 For me this shows the Disciples in a situation they never had seen or experiences before. It freaked them out. They were afraid. One of their friends faces just shone like the sun. Think about that a second. Wouldn’t you freak out? Throw on top of it Jesus is hanging out with Moses and Elijah. WOA! Jesus came down and told them to not be afraid. When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus. Wow. They got through it. Jesus told them to not tell what they had seen. Jesus had a plan and a timeline. Later when the disciples cant’ cure a demon possessed boy he gets a little frustrated. “You unbelieving and perverse generation,â€Â Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Then he healed the boy. When the disciples asked why they couldn’t do it, Jesus said they lacked faith. That’s amazing that THEY lacked faith after all the things they had seen. Jesus said, ““Because you have so little faith. Truly (there is that word again) I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.†Proverbs 17 I had a few thing pop out at me. Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam; so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out. Whoever loves a quarrel loves sin; whoever builds a high gate invites destruction Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues. Satan! You are a stumbling block to me
Today we are looking at Matthew 16 and Proverbs 16. Here we see Jesus getting more obvious, and starting to let people see who he really is. The Sadducees want a parlor trick, and Jesus tells them to talk to the hand. We see the patience of Christ as the disciples are worried about bread. Jesus was like, “Seriously? Do you not remember the THOUSANDS of people’s I’ve fed MULTIPLE TIMES? When Peter figures out he’s the Messiah Jesus is like FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT! How weird is it that he wanted to keep it under wraps? He had a timeline, and he didn’t want to move at the pace that I’m sure the disciples want to move. I love in Matthew 16 verse 23 Jesus says, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me…” How cool is that? Satan is a stumbling block that can be kicked away! In Proverbs 16 we learn: All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. The Lord detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished. Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. 19 Better to be lowly in spirit along with the oppressed than to share plunder with the proud. 31 Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained in the way of righteousness. 32 Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city. Sometimes We Don’t Get It - But Our Faith Pulls Us Through
In Matthew 15 Jesus is trying to get the point across that its not the outside of the person that he’s interested in, its the inside. Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen and understand. 11 What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.†He openly spoke out against the people in charge and called them hypocrites (again). He was becoming more bold, and that is why they really started to hate him. He was cracking on their traditions. He was dissing their “religion” aspects and saying, “It’s between you and God!” I’ve never understood when it appears Jesus had a bad day with a woman. He almost ignores her until her faith saves her. He even says, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.†That’s kind of brutal.  When I look in previous scriptures of this chapter I see where Peter asked Christ to explain some parables. With this in mind, I don’t feel so bad that I don’t full understand the attitude on display. The Compassion of Christ
Mathew 14 In Matthew 14, we hear how Jesus finds out about the death of John the Baptist and has to take a second to get away and be by himself. Jesus knows what its like to lose people. He understand the pain. When he comes back, he is greeted with a crowd. He doesn’t turn them away, but instead feeds them. He pulls off one of those AMAZING miracles that we read about and joust gloss over. 5000 PEOPLE is A LOT of people, and they had feed left over. It made for a long day, I’m sure. He hangs back and lets his friends go ahead as he needs to pray. Later he walks on water. He just fed 5000 people with next to nothing, and his disciples are amazed. Peter asks him to call him. Jesus tells him to come and in faith Peter gets out of the boat. But the wind distracts him and he starts to sink. Jesus takes action and grabs him and saves him and they get back in the boat. Here again, Jesus has compassion. He doesn’t lose his temper. I don’t know that I could do that on such a bad day. Proverbs 14 3 A fool’s mouth lashes out with pride, but the lips of the wise protect them. 29 Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly. Work Smarter - Pride Leads to Strife
Today’s scripture is Matthew 13 and proverbs 13.  Here is what jumped out at me: Matthew 13 A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.†18 “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. 23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.†I feel this is Jesus saying to work smart. Be willing to see when things are not working. Be willing to know when there are not meant to be. On the other hand, I realize I am a see. I need to nurture my soil. I need to tend to my garden that is my life on a daily basis. Proverbs 13 10 Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice. 18 Whoever disregards discipline comes to poverty and shame, but whoever heeds correction is honored. 24 Whoever spares the rod hates their children, but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them. How many times has pride caused problems in your life. How many times has pride hurt people you love? As for verse 24, its just another example of the world being completely different than the words of Jesus. With Me or Against Me? - Your Tongue Part II
Today we look at Matthew 12 and Proverbs 12. Here are the verses that jumped out at me. Jesus didn’t really pull any punches. Here is saying, “Choose.” 30 “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. 31 And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. 36 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.†50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.†Proverbs 12 12Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid. 14 From the fruit of their lips people are filled with good things, and the work of their hands brings them reward. 18 The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Holding Your Tongue
Today I look at Matthew 11 and Proverbs 11 Here are the verses that jumped out at me. 12 Whoever derides their neighbor has no sense, but the one who has understanding holds their tongue. 13 A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret. 21 Be sure of this: The wicked will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will go free. 25 A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. 27 Whoever seeks good finds favor, but evil comes to one who searches for it.
