Prayer: A relationship and a work

If you had 3 years to save the world from disaster, what methods would you use to reach as many people as possible to accomplish what is seemingly an impossible task? You probably wouldn't sleep much. you would always be on the move, occupying your time with doing as much as you can. Jesus's public ministry only lasted 3 years (still continues today through His followers), but even so, the bible records for us that Jesus, the Saviour of the world, would often slip away to spend time with His Father in prayer. Jesus prioritized prayer. He would even leave needy crowds to confide in His Father in solitude. If the Son of God Himself never neglected prayer, even when burdened with saving the world, why is it that we often do?
