Prayer & Worship - Beth, Llewelyn & John N

Over 40 days of prayer at the end of last year we sought God's will and vision for our church coming into this new season. As a result we have developed and shaped a shared vision for Aberfoyle Park Baptist Church. Throughout the series our eldership team will join us to share this vision through the values that anchor us to our foundation of King & Kingdom; Love, Restoration, Word, Transformation, Prayer, Worship, Seeking, Empowerment, Proclamation & Blessing. This week Llewelyn and Beth are joined by another of our elders, John N, as they share our values of Prayer & Worship; Prayer  |  Prayerfully seeking relationship with God and His will for blessing. We aspire to be a church who walks humbly, listening, seeking and partnering with God in His will, way, protection and blessing. As we pursue this intimate and loving relationship with the Father we seek to pray powerfully and expectantly for each other and our local, national and global community, asking for their blessing, restoration and transformation and speaking into spiritual brokenness, oppression and injustice through the authority given to us by the Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit. Worship  |  Joyfully worshiping God in humble adoration. We aspire to be a church in awe and wonder of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who willingly worship out of an abundance of joy that comes from a loving relationship and a revelation of His holy character. We adopt an attitude of humility as a declaration of allegiance because He alone is worthy of all glory, honour and praise.
