Conceived as a nocturnal and free-flowing reinterpretation of ii, the rem(ii)xes EP expands Destiino’s singular universe of synthetic melancholy, romantic tension and hazy dancefloor escapism. A longtime affiliate of the Lumière Noire family, Lauer delivers a hypnotic remix infused with kosmische textures and cold-disco grooves. Meanwhile, Léonie Pernet reshapes the original material into something more organic and emotionally charged, while Marina Trench brings a sensual club-driven interpretation balancing mutant house rhythms with elegant late-night energy. The EP will be released on June 26th, just one day before Destiino’s appearance at La Crème Festival (Villefranche-sur-Mer), where he will perform a special b2b DJ set with CHLOÉ, founder of Lumière Noire. Balancing introspective electronics with dancefloor intensity, the rem(ii)xes EP offers another glimpse into the many facets of Pierre-Alexandre Busson (aka Yuksek) whose creative universe extends far beyond club culture, spanning film scoring, photography and a wide-ranging body of artistic collaborations.
