 Don’t Look Back marks DJ Hoshino’s first concept EP since his 2023 release 2017–2020, a project that closed a chapter on his earlier self-released era. Originally produced in 2022, this EP has patiently waited for the right moment and the right home and we’re proud to welcome it to the Dancing On Wax catalogue. Opening with the ambient/breakbeat drift of Spiral, the EP gradually builds through Without You before diving into heavier territory with Choices and Metal Echoes. The release closes with an epic early-2000s trance-inspired remix of Metal Echoes by German duo Orbital Drum System, bringing a euphoric lift to the project’s darker core. Don’t Look Back is both a return and a progression, a confident step forward that honours the past without being bound to it. We hope you enjoy this one!
