Born from a chance connection through mentor Osunlade, the partnership between Flip and Inkswel grew from their debut Early in the AM into a full-blown collaboration, even before they ever met in person. Their bond was cemented in 2025, leading to this bold, boundary-pushing project. Rooted in their shared love of hip hop, house, and soul, Mushroom Funk is a kaleidoscope of lush textures, raw lo-fi grooves, and infectious club energy.
