PREMIERE : Jah-Jo - Imperios Surgen y Caen

For Jah-Jo’s official second EP, he pivots from electro and ghetto house to craft a 4 piece journey expressing the collision of two key identities. Born in El Salvador but raised in Los Angeles, Jah-Jo was conditioned to tuck away his Latin heritage to fit in the American lifestyle. He quickly fell in love with club and techno forward music in the western world but felt the lack of his ancestral presence. ‘Salvaritmo’ is his first major effort to infuse his Salvadoran blood to the music he grew up embracing. The end result: a radiating techno project with dubby low-end and sensual, earthy synth lines all infused with the soul of cumbia, salsa and reggaeton.
