Born and raised in Detroit with Mexican roots, JANSØ is an emerging techno artist making his debut on Blank Code. Drawing inspiration from the rhythms that surrounded him growing up, he incorporates subtle influences from Hispanic musical traditions into a driving, atmospheric techno sound rooted in groove and movement. Second in the EP is the haunting sounds "Tenebras," where a throbbing low-end meets skittering percussion elements for a spacey, dystopian workout.
