Los Angeles duo Megafang return with “GT5,” an electronic single that plays like a doomed midnight joyride in a dystopian city. Distorted percussion, hypnotic acid lines and trance-tinged synths move through a cavernous soundstage, while a relentless 909 pulse drives the track forward with mechanical force. At its center is a spectral vocal from Shelley Fang — intimate but distant — scattered through the mix with hushed autotune and drifting delays. The ghostly refrain “girls ride” circles obsessively, suggesting a dream of speed and motion. Focusing on dark and high-energy rave music spanning hard techno, schranz, acid, and trance. Since its inception in 2024, EONS has steadily built a catalogue of ground-breaking singles, EPs, and remixes. They routinely step across genre boundaries and dip into experimental moments. 'Cold Harbor' marks the first various artist compilation produced by the label. It features 12 hard hitting tracks that showcase the breadth and depth of the label's sonic mission.
