PREMIERE: JAURI - Corte diez [KNTR05]
from THE BRVTALIST · host THE BRVTALIST
The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Jauri. "Corte diez" comes off the new v/a compliation forthcoming on Colombia's KONTRA. KNTR05 is a point of friction. Containing seven tracks that explore techno as a mental state: repetition, tension, and constant pulse. Music that moves forward without explanation, built from pressure and internal motion. From Colombia, the Czech Republic, and Portugal, Kontra brings together Qv, MidiRama, Skin, and Jauri within a shared sonic language. Raw, hypnotic, and direct techno, with dense grooves, dry atmospheres, and structures designed to sustain both the dancefloor and prolonged attention. Qv and Jauri represent the Colombian scene through a balance of physical drive and mental focus, where groove and repetition build identity. MidiRama contributes the depth and solid pulse of European techno from Prague, while Skin pushes the spectrum toward more raw and psychological territory from Portugal. KNTR05 – V/A avoids nostalgia and forced futurism. It exists in the present: conscious repetition, sustained tension, and sonic action. Out February 17th.
