The release is built around multiple evolutions of a track that has already become a standout in his live sets. An alias of Emmy Award-winning composer, producer, and musician Jordan Lieb, Black Light Smoke operates between house, techno, minimal synth, and post-punk. In its original form The Basement is a tense, driving cut powered by snapping drums, distorted electro synths, and deadpan vocals that lend a cold sense of disillusionment. The ‘Vocal Dub’ strips things back while leaning further into EBM territory through angular rhythms, aggressive synth work, and sleazy undertones sharpened by flashes of cowbell, before the ‘Club Mix’ closes the release in full late-night mode, pairing convulsive drums with frazzled textures and metallic synth pressure for a raw and chaotic finish. The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from D Tron X. "Waves of Desolation" is the title track off the new release forthcoming on Bogotá's Complejo Records. The debut LP by D TRON X, the sideproject of Diego Diaz a.k.a. Delectro, dives into the coldest territories of dark electronic music. Conceived and executed exclusively with machines, the release transforms circuits and voltages into palpable emotions, where the mechanical becomes deeply human and desolate. Throughout the LP, the martial pulses of EBM, analog bass lines, repetitive sequences, and raw rhythmic structures merge with the melancholic textures of darkwave, ethereal synthesizers, somber melodies, and introspective atmospheres, building dense and minimalist sonic landscapes. The LP expands with remixes that add new dimensions to the original concept. Millimetric, a French electro veteran and a key reference of modern EBM, injects power and rhythmic punch, reinterpreting the material from a more Techno-Electro perspective. "DAZED" is the new single from the Swedish composer, producer and sound artist working within dark electroacoustic, industrial and experimental electronic music. Combining cello, live drums, modular synths and raw electronic textures, the music moves between hypnotic techno rhythms, noise, ambient passages and physical acoustic elements. After many years playing within the Swedish punk and rock scene — including performing with INVSN alongside Dennis Lyxzén and Sara Almgren — Ea Sundström now moves further into an electroacoustic and industrial solo direction. “DAZED” is an industrial electroacoustic track blending cello, live drums and digital textures into a rhythmic and uneasy soundscape. The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Unpronounceable. "Destination Unknown (Gay Horror Remix)" comes off the new release of the same name forthcoming on Italy's Marguerite Records. The release is born from an archive of sounds collected between 2019 and 2024—sonic fragments that took shape without a predetermined direction, guided only by an open idea in constant transformation. The original track, conceived as a “destination unknown” composition, developed its own independent identity. However, precisely because of its fluid and cross-genre nature, Unpronounceable chose not to place it within a traditional EP context, instead opening it up to a multiplicity of perspectives by inviting five artists to reinterpret it freely, without genre constraints. The result is an EP that unfolds like an alternative map of the same sonic territory, where each remix explores a distinct direction, transforming Destination Unknown into a multifaceted and ever-evolving experience. With Gay Horror, the focus shifts to an emotional and narrative dimension. The vocals are deliberately made elusive and undefined, while the structure develops through a slow, controlled crescendo that recalls the atmospheres of ’90s trip-hop. The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a "Bondage" by KKD. Off the record, Secret Room, the release is a retrospective that reopens the sonic and visual archive of KKD, bringing back to light a trajectory that long remained underground within the history of Italian new wave. The tracks, recorded between 1979 and 1986, reflect a constantly evolving process shaped by experimentation, improvisation, and a drive toward new languages. The project takes shape inside a former hotel in Italy’s Po Valley, transformed into a studio, rehearsal space, and visual lab. Here, among analog synthesizers, homemade electronics, and multitrack recorders, Kriminal Killer Division experimented with and pushed their available technology to its limits, developing a hybrid language: sounds captured from radio and the street, synthetic voices, guitars, and electronic sequences intertwine in compositions that move between art rock, minimal wave, and more industrial directions. This collection aims precisely to reactivate that imaginary. The vinyl is accompanied by a risograph fanzine that restores the project’s visual dimension: collages, photographs, and graphic materials reflecting the same experimental attitude found in the recordings. Sound and image move together, as parts of a single expressive device. In a Secret Room offers access to a hidden space where interference, noise, and intuition take form without mediation. The Berlin-based, Chinese artist shares her recent focus on unformulated, refined grooves within techno, continuing her practice of approaching sound as an extension of mind space. Defined by driving, immersive sound Nanzhen Yang draws on her multidisciplinary arts background and crafts DJ mixes with sculptural flow, layered textures, and precise energy control, creating tension that pulls listeners onto the dance floor. Each set is curated for unique sonic textures and emotional impact, bridging clubs and art spaces while delivering a dynamic, memorable experience. During eight formative years in London, she became a regular at the influential East London club Fold and began a residency with Boudica. Since relocating to Berlin in 2025, Nanzhen has performed at OXI, RSO, and KitKatClub, toured internationally across Europe and Asia, and joined Beijing’s Groundless Factory as a resident DJ.
