Jerry Bouthier and Julien Plaisir have teamed up to create the Eccitatissimo EP, on THISBE Recordings. The Climax Mix kicks off the EP with bang, harnessing both artists talent as producers, to bring a track aimed at the dance floor. Jerry Bouthier: “We both love the original new wave/post-punk of yore, the sound of NY clubs such as Mud Club, Danceteria etc, when electronic instruments started to infiltrate studios and dancefloors. Futuristic music to dance to - obviously fed by disco - but also packed with attitude and interesting new sounds. A landmark in time… With Julien our musical trajectories crossed again thanks to the current dark disco thump that harps back to that golden era, it was the perfect moment to combine our inspirations and contribute to this scene that keeps on pushing the limits… A good occasion to spend time with Julien who makes you look at life with a smile, priceless!"
