PREMIERE: Labyrinthine - Obelisk [CRSCNT23]

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Labyrinthine. "Obelisk" comes off the artist's debut EP, Fading Obelisk, forthcoming on Crescent London. A long-awaited return to the label, the release features two atmospheric tracks on the A-side. "Fading" takes the listener through ethereal synths pads and trance-like textures delivering the most hypnotic moment of the release. "Obelisk" sets a darker tone with deep tom rumbles and a haunting blend of traveling harps and bells. On the B Side, Kontinum is back on Crescent for a remix duty, delivering a captivating rework of "Fading" with superb pad stabs that engage in a beautiful interplay. Joining the Crescent roster for the first time, legendary producer Forest of Stasys offers a powerful interpretation of "Obelisk." Maintaining the raw low-end, the Argentinian artist infuses the track with a fresh groove, incorporating sharp shakers and off-beat toms. Out on vinyl + digital February 13th.
