His debut album ‘No One Can Affect This’ is comprised of fourteen original compositions which meander through dub techno, glitch, microhouse and experimental influences. Milos, Bratislava (Slovakia) based music producer, DJ and audio engineer with a history dating back to the turn of the millennium where he cut his teeth as a DJ on his home turf and later went on to release material on the likes of Portable’s Süd Electronic, and Multi Vitamins among others. He later went on to launch the Leporelo imprint and events series alongside friends which welcomed artists such as Akufen, Deadbeat, Sonja Moonear and Subb-an to play, while the label has been a home for Milos and many other talents in his circles for over a decade now. Here though, Milos marks a milestone in his own production career with the unveiling of his debut long player ‘No One Can Affect This’. Across fourteen original compositions Milos channels all of his experience and musical influences in electronic music to make up the project. Milos offers up airy, textural dub influenced cuts like ‘Groove Intro’, ‘Dobro Techno’ and ‘Sun Meadow’ and raw classic house with title-track ‘No One Can Affect This’ featuring vocals from Milos himself,’ through to more raw techno excursions like ‘Straightforward Champ, ‘Down The Black Line’ and the acid laced ‘Roger Acid’. There’s also some material which leans towards the early days of minimal music like ‘I Feel You’, ‘Klenova 1’, ‘It Is Complicated’ and ‘It Is Clear And Bright’, while other offerings like ‘Nebula Sphere’ lean into a more experimental realm with broken rhythms and intricate synth work. All in all Milos delivers a comprehensive outline of his sonic palette with the album, taking the listener on a deviating journey through his musical world throughout.
