PREMIERE: MirrorLake - Flora Imaginaria [Qeone]

Fresh up on the docket this fine Wednesday morning is from the latest release on the supreme Qeone imprint. Helmed by Polygonia, as one of her many projects, she strives to release only quality and we are no strangers to supporting her endeavors. As part of the seventh release, she looks to Mexican producer Gerardo Torres aka MirrorLake and his club friendly Moa EP. Chock full to the gills with a swelling combination of dub and deep techno, the four tracker is another excellent addition to Qeone’s catalog. Flora Imaginaria leads off the Moa ep, setting a tone for what is to come later. Breakish percussion joined by dubby chords gives a backdrop to a delightfully dancey affair. Images of hazey clubs and nights out abound as MirrorLake’s swelling melodies ebb and flow.
