PREMIERE: NZM 99 - Khuiten [TJK07]

from THE BRVTALIST · host THE BRVTALIST

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from NZM 99. "Khuiten" comes off the new EP of the same name forthcoming on France's TJALK records. Witht this EP the artist delivers an intense, ascending sonic journey inspired by the highest mountain in Mongolia. Much like its mythical summit, the EP unfolds through raw power, mineral atmospheres, and a tension that steadily rises. The three original tracks sculpt a deep electronic landscape: cold layers, rhythms carved like rock, and an energy that evokes both the solitude and the majesty of high-altitude environments. Each piece reveals a different facet of the massif—its spirituality, its harshness, and its sense of elevation. Two artists extend this ascent with their own singular visions: Liza Aikin offers a dark, incisive remix shaped by her industrial and immersive approach. Mystery Kid delivers a more hypnotic and enveloping reinterpretation, where sonic verticality transforms into a slow, atmospheric traverse. Khuiten moves like an expedition: determined, precise, inhabited. A climb toward an inner summit as much as a musical one. Out February 2nd.
