PREMIERE: Omon Breaker - Mutated Reality [DASTAPE01]

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Omon Breaker. "Mutated Reality" comes off the new release, Das Tape Vol. 1, forthcoming on Das Werk. The label launches a new split EP series combining cassette and digital releases. The first installment features the young Ukrainian talent miroslav062 and label curator Omon Breaker. For miroslav062, this release marks the starting point of his career. Skillfully combining the drama and melody of trance with the rhythm and dynamics of techno, the artist clearly defines his musical boundaries—or rather, the lack thereof. The numbers 062 represent the area code of Donetsk, Ukraine, the city where the artist was born and raised. This industrial city with a high level of factories has become the foundation for his exploration of the underground scene, in which Miroslav is now a fresh and vibrant presence. The B-side is taken over by Ukrainian DJ and sound producer Omon Breaker. Over several years of his creative journey, the artist has found a balance between techno, trance, breakbeat, and electro, thus creating a psytech sound. His music is filled with the author's emotions and experiences, ranging from love to hate, from sorrow to joy. The release is out August 7 on cassette and digital.
