PREMIERE : Partner Music - Awara

from Les Yeux Orange · host Les Yeux Orange

Raw and immersive, Awara is the latest release (and first self-release) from Partner Music - the solo project of Chris Trowbridge aka Troby, a London-based producer and songwriter. Known for his boundary-pushing collaborations, Troby played a significant role in shaping several standout tracks on Dom Maker’s (Mount Kimbie) Die Cuts—including “F1 Racer,” “Need U Tonight,” “Tender Hearts Meet the Sky,” and “If and When.” He also developed the original concept for the Grammy-nominated single “Loading” from James Blake’s Playing Robots Into Heaven." Drawing inspiration from Bollywood soundtracks and global rhythms, Awara reframes those influences into a hypnotic, genre-blurring club track with real emotional weight. Blending rolling percussion, cinematic tension and low-end pressure, this song has been made for low-ceiling basements, open-air sound systems, and focused headphone sessions alike.
