His recent album was released on the label to wide acclaim and now it will unveil a selection of remixes of choice cuts from the project, first up to take the reins is the beloved Berlin artist, Rising Sun. Up first is ‘On The Way Out (Rising Sun Remix I)’, characterised with the producer’s delicate and detailed style via crisp percussion, intricately processed vocal chops, fluttering synth sequences and cinematic atmospherics. The ‘On The Way Out (Rising Sun Reprise I)’ follows, as the name would suggest offering a textural ambient counterpart to the first interpretation. The ‘Marble (Rising Sun Remix II)’ follows next and merges expansive dub delays and weighty drums with fragments of the original composition. To round out the release we once again revisit ‘On The Way Out’ with the ‘Rising Sun Reprise II’, this time the ethereal pads are met with crunchy break beats and mesmeric vocal chants.
