Ransom Note has always been my favorite music online magazine, and now it's gradually becomes my favorite label. One release is stronger than another and in general they pleasantly surprise by the variety of their releases involving artists of different musical styles, united by one but the most important detail - beautiful and high-quality music. For the ninth release of R$N invites none else than Belgium synthesizer virtuoso Placid One, who is known for his work on such labels as Convex Records, Manic Beats Records and Hyperion Audio. "C Ballon" EP brings three original mixes, remix from amazing British producer Timothy Clerkin and German ambient master Niklas Rehme-Schlüter aka Cass. , who took the titule track of EP and turned it into beautiful piece of nostalgia filled of feeling and emotions and consisting of a vibrating bass line, a ragged rhythm and hypnotic synths.
