PREMIERE: Ruben Borgers - Lofting [CCA042]

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Ruben Borgers. "Lofting" comes off the new EP, Local Maxima, forthcoming on Portugal's Colectivo Casa Amarela. The release is a journey, a weaving together of fleeting visions from parallel, yet intertwined sonic realms. It ventures boldly through a rich tapestry of sounds and textures, each track born not from rigid intention but from an unrelenting pursuit of the elusive, those shimmering, transient spaces in the soundscape, like the mysterious limbo of Vaalbara. The music unfolded live, forged in real-time with an arsenal of synthesizers. In these moments, delicate interactions gave way to sudden storms of chaotic experimentation, the machines pushed beyond their thresholds, revealing hidden voices at the edge of collapse.
