Behind the decks, SAMDMA is known for driving, dark, and intense sets built around one clear objective: keeping the energy high and the crowd locked in from start to finish. That same uncompromising approach runs through his productions, helping the young Austrian artist carve out an increasingly distinctive presence within the techno scene. With releases on Set About, Mainground, Codex, and Reload regularly appearing in the Beatport Top 100 charts, SAMDMA continues to build momentum — and Hypnosis marks another powerful step forward. The title track lives up to its name, weaving hypnotic vocals through an ever-shifting rhythm that pulls the listener deeper with every beat. Dark, driving, and irresistibly captivating, “Hypnosis” is designed to send the dancefloor into a trance. The second track, “Bumbayerum,” ventures into even darker territory than “Hypnosis.” Deep, commanding vocals cut through a relentless, driving rhythm, creating a raw and brooding atmosphere built for the darkest hours of the dancefloor. Founded by Slovenian techno heavyweight UMEK, 1605 has established itself as a driving force in contemporary techno, championing high-impact productions built for the dancefloor. Over the years, the label has become synonymous with powerful grooves, relentless energy, and forward-thinking club music, providing a platform for both established names and emerging talent. With a consistently strong presence on the charts and in DJ sets worldwide, 1605 continues to push its unmistakable sound while shaping the next generation of techno.
