Premiere: Tunnel - Giving In (We Build Machines)

Featuring works from 20 artists across the electronic music and techno scenes, Prompt/Imagine presents an in-depth showcase of exciting on-the-rise and established electronic music producers that don’t fit easily into pre-defined genres. Harder vibes, darker worlds, dancefloor focused tracks, and even beautiful ambient drone music created by A.I. algorithms are featured. One common theme throughout the project is the ability of each artist to craft complex and engaging electronic music. Accompanying the music release, and pushing boundaries in visual form, is a 72-page book featuring sci-fi imagery and conversations with each artist about the role of A.I. in creative practice. Each artist’s likeness, as well as the imagery throughout the book, was generated using artificial intelligence platform Midjourney.
