PREMIERE : Ubaruh - Baila Dance

from Les Yeux Orange · host Les Yeux Orange

Partyfine proudly presents ‘Hey, Ubaruh!’. It’s the debut album from the Brazilian duo of the same name, a kaleidoscopic journey through psychedelic dance music, Balearic warmth, and the unmistakable pulse of Brazil’s contemporary electronic scene. Since 2013, Yuksek’s imprint has championed boundary pushing artists like Frank Agrario, Dombrance, Fatnotronic, Bertrand Burgalat, The Magician, Alex Metric, and Jean Tonique. Now Ubaruh now steps confidently into that lineage with their most ambitious work to date. A Brazilian duo with a global pulse, Ubaruh is the creative partnership between São Paulo producer Phillipi Alves (Fatnotronic / DEEWEE) and multi instrumentalist Emmo Martins (Monterno / Bamba Music). Their name comes from “O Barulho” meaning the noise — a nod to the long standing friendship and sonic curiosity that fuels their project. Across their early releases from “Pinche Funky Disco” (on Multi Culti) to “Ubaruh Theme” (Partyfine) and the acclaimed “Onda Frisson EP” (Cocada Records), the duo has carved out a signature sound of fat, organic basslines, hypnotic guitars, heavy percussion, acid leaning synths, and a free spirited, cosmopolitan approach to dance. ‘Hey, Ubaruh!’ is eleven tracks of psychedelic dancefloor alchemy and a vibrant fusion of wild textures, Balearic breeziness, and refined, contemporary production. Anchored by real bass and guitar lines, R&B inflected vocals, and a deep percussive backbone, the record moves effortlessly between Brazilian and Caribbean rhythms, cosmic disco, acid house, and sun drenched electronic grooves. Each track feels like a postcard from a different corner of the duo’s universe - from late night club hypnosis to open air beach euphoria. Partyfine’s mission has always been to cultivate a family of musicians who collaborate freely, blending their influences and creative instincts. ‘Hey, Ubaruh!’ embodies that philosophy: bold, colourful, and unafraid to experiment while remaining irresistibly danceable. The album stands as a celebration of independence, community, and the global language of rhythm — a perfect fit for a label that continues to curate “just good music for a better world.”
