Jordan Bruce & Larry Jones aka Yard One have been teaming up to deliver their take on deep and hypnotic house and techno over the past decade, predominantly on their Tact Recordings imprint as well as the likes of Malin Genie's Vigenere, Tokyo's Sound Of Vast, Philipp Priebe's Stólar and Cinthie's 803 Crystal Grooves Collective Cuts among others. Here though, they join Ausblick with their latest collection of works, opening with the dynamic deep house jam 'Cotton Candy Clouds' an excursion through organic drums, ethereal pad textures, weighty subs and an amalgamation of twinkling synth melodies. 'Scintillate' then egdes into the duo's darker aesthetic via murky bass, tribal percussion and swirling resonant synth modulations. 'Cobblestone Cadscades' then concludes the release on a deep and dubbed out tip with spiraling echoes, choppy flutters, off-kilter percussion and a snaking low-end drive.
