Her trajectory exemplifies a deep commitment to both the tourism industry and the Richmond community, marked by several pioneering initiatives and leadership milestones.Career Journey and Key Roles:-Started in tourism shortly after college, initially creating visitor guides and maps.-Progressed through marketing roles, then founded the community relations division about 13 years ago, focusing on engaging Richmond residents rather than solely targeting external visitors.-Played a leadership role in launching community-driven marketing campaigns such as out RVA (LGBTQ community-focused) and Black RVA (highlighting Black communities), both aimed at shifting outdated perceptions of Richmond.-Served as Executive Vice President for five years during a planned CEO succession.Named President and CEO approximately a year and a half ago.We hope you learn as much as we did!
