President Musk's MAGA Shutdown

MOMocrats Karoli, Aliza Worthington, and Donna Schwartz Mills try to get into the holiday spirit on their final podcast of the year, but - as Karoli puts it: President Musk said we can’t have a continuing resolution to keep the government open and “he looked over at Vice President Trump and said, ‘you can’t have that either.’ And so now we’re going to hurtle into a government shutdown.”Once again, the MOMocrats lament the decision of many Democratic leaders to act as if this is politics as usual,  "Nobody cares how bipartisan you are."People disengage because they need to live their lives. And there’s NO REASON to engage if Democrats are talking about how they are going to compromise. And then WE LOSE ENTHUSIASM.We NEED a Democratic leader who will step up and be a real shadow President. It could be Kamala Harris. But if it turns out to be Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, or another tough leader, that's OK.
