Now it's time for my Chapter 8 RECAP of 1997's "Child Bride" by Suzanne Finstad called  "The Myth Unravels." This one is a good one - let's get to the bottom of the lengths that Priscilla Presley will go to in order to convince us, the public, that she was most definitely NOT an Elvis Presley fan before she met him in Germany in 1959. Not only that, she definitely does not want us to know that (according to the author and her sources) that she tried, as a precocious 14 year old, to beg the few people that she KNEW who were friends with Elvis -to get HER an invite to meet him. It's a hill she has long been prepared to die on, and as we see, the story unravels in future episodes, and , I think there was a definite reason WHY.
