Welcome to my latest coffee chat  -  First up - Blake Lively probably won't get a damn dime from Justin Baldoni (even though she is still trying to) so thank and praise the LORD. Now she just has to go away and leave Justin Baldoni and all of us alone.  Next, Meghan Markle recently "rebranded" her "As ever" website, but to me it's the same old tired stuff she has already peddled to us, with just a new focus on her. I'm sorry, but I just can't get excited about it.  In this video, I give Meghan some free and unsolicited tips to save her faltering and uninspired brand. She won't listen to me, but that's beside the point.  Also, Meghan is STILL showing us the back of her kid's heads - this time at Disneyland.  It is creepy and I don't like it. For several reasons.  Harry is finding himself in HOT WATER and scandalous accusations regarding Invictus Games and alleged financial mismanagement are swirling- (it's bad.) The future doesn't look too good for the "Duke of Delusion." Now it's time for my Chapter 8 RECAP of 1997's "Child Bride" by Suzanne Finstad called  "The Myth Unravels." This one is a good one - let's get to the bottom of the lengths that Priscilla Presley will go to in order to convince us, the public, that she was most definitely NOT an Elvis Presley fan before she met him in Germany in 1959. Not only that, she definitely does not want us to know that (according to the author and her sources) that she tried, as a precocious 14 year old, to beg the few people that she KNEW who were friends with Elvis -to get HER an invite to meet him. It's a hill she has long been prepared to die on, and as we see, the story unravels in future episodes, and , I think there was a definite reason WHY. Get ready, because it's just another fun and fake day online for Meghan Markle and Blake Lively! Whether we are talking about their Instagram grids, weird and off-putting public appearances, or the way their relentless PR machines constantly push out fluff stories, it is daunting. Now it's time for Chapter 4 of 1997's "Child Bride" by Suzanne Finstad called "Fantasies of Elvis." Priscilla Beaulieu Presley's narrative has ALWAYS been that she wasn't really an Elvis fan when she first met him. Sure, she admitted in a few interviews over the years that she "liked" him, ('who didn't?" she would later say) but she maintains that she definitely was NOT crazy about him like so many other girls her age in 1956. This chapter takes direct aim at this claim, through interviews with Priscilla's child hood friends. We find out that according to them, at the time when Elvis exploded onto the scene, Priscilla WAS fascinated and completely enamored with Elvis - continually playing his records, and often relaying "make believe" fantasies to her close girlfriend about her desire to meet and eventually marry him. Hey guys, now that it is official that Netflix have severed their partnership with Meghan Markle I thought it was a great time to revisit the podcast interview she gave in the summer of 2025 where she talked all about what a wonderful thing she had going (according to HER at the time) with Netflix. I felt the interview was OFF when I first saw it and I think that now more than ever. I had the feeling watching that interview that she genuinely felt that it was a privilege for NETFLIX to be in partnership with HER. Let's talk about the book "Child Bride" by Suzanne Finstad. There are some online that are of the opinion that the book is not accurate nor factual, due to the fact that in the late 1990s, Priscilla Presley successfully sued for defamation one of the book's sources - a man that knew Priscilla back in the late 1950s and early 1960s named Currie Grant.   In 1996, while conducting interviews for "Child Bride", Suzanne's investigation into Priscilla's claims about her early days with Elvis Presley in Germany blew Priscilla's narrative out of the water - once Suzanne began to interview Currie Grant and uncover HIS version of events. Shortly thereafter, enraged with anger (and some would say fear) Priscilla proceeded to sue Currie over some heated taped interviews that he gave to the author- both alone, and also in conjunction with Priscilla herself at the author's home. Priscilla took issue with the story that Currie told Suzanne about the nature of his relationship with Priscilla, BEFORE she had met Elvis. This explosive story punched a hole in the narrative that Priscilla had and has been telling in the public domain for decades- one that she famously chronicled in her 1985 memoir, "Elvis and Me." In her memoir, Priscilla says that she was a 14 year old innocent when she married Elvis and remained one until their wedding day in May 1967. Needless to say, Currie does not agree with Priscilla's version of events surrounding the timeline of Priscilla's early days - both with him and with Elvis in Germany.   Currie Grant always insisted that Priscilla's version of events was NOT what really happened. In 1998, Priscilla won her defamation case against Currie Grant. However, there is far more to the story. In 2010, an Elvis biographer and researcher named Alana Nash uncovered the details of the once confidential legal settlement between Currie and Priscilla following the lawsuit. What were those details, and why do they seem to protect Currie as well, despite the fact that Priscilla is the one that actually WON the defamation lawsuit against him?   The results are eye opening, and only serve to raise more questions - namely- is the carefully crafted origin story that Priscilla Presley created about herself true- or is it HER version of a made up fiction? Now it's time for Chapter 3 of "Child Bride" by Suzanne Finstad called "Little Girl Lost" Priscilla Beaulieu Presley was denied the sad story of her birth father, a Naval pilot named James Wagner, who died while she was only a few months old. As a result, she grew up a beautiful, yet very sad, lonely little girl. Priscilla Beaulieu Presley was not born a Beaulieu - She was born Priscilla Ann Wagner, and in this episode, we find out how she actually acquired the Beaulieu name- and how Priscilla's mother Ann was able to keep her daughter's birth secret from her for over a decade. This chapter definitely sheds some light on the internal makeup of both Priscilla and her mother Ann, and gives us some understanding of the woman we all know today as Priscilla Presley. Let's officially start the next book read  - Suzanne Finstad's 1997 book - "Child Bride" The Untold Story of Priscilla Beaulieu Presley! Let's set the stage for the book with the author's Prologue and Chapter 1- but first - Why did the author endeavor to write this book in the first place? Simple. Before "Child Bride" - The ONLY biography of Priscilla Presley out in the media and culture was Priscilla's own 1985 autobiography of her life with Elvis Presley - the worldwide sensation "Elvis and Me. However, it was a very narrow and one sided perception of Priscilla and her orgin story - with NO accounts or interviews (other than Priscilla's own narrative) to counter or substantiate her origin story and legend. This book aims to right this- with over 2 years of methodical research and interviews with over 300 people who knew Priscilla at different stages of her (then) 5 decade life, it shatters the engrained, established Priscilla Presley "myth" like no other book has, before or since.  In 2025, Priscilla Presley published another memoir chronicling her life with Elvis called "Softly As I Leave You" - and many critics complained that this book was just another one of her guarded rehashed narratives she has been telling about her life- in dozens of interviews since the the mid 1980s. Some would argue that "Child Bride" is as relevant today as it was in 1997 when it was published - particularly when you pair it along side the numerous and troubling headlines that Priscilla Presley has been involved with in 2025 - right up to the present day. It is time for more updates- the more I hear and read, the more I am convinced that this Epstein ROT goes way deeper than any of us would like to admit. And it's not just Epstein- it has been going on for a lot longer than we would like to believe. Welcome to the final episode in the "Errol Flynn Slept Here" book read series. This is Ep. 13, and the Final Chapter in the book, called "The Death of Mulholland Farm." It is May 1988. Errol Flynn is now dead and gone, and the house that he built in 1941, his beloved Mulholland House, has sat vacant for almost three years, after the tragic death of its last owner, rock and roll superstar Rick Nelson. On a balmy spring afternoon, high in the mountains overlooking the San Fernando Valley, quite unceremoniously, the infamous party house, which Flynn once called his "refuge", is bulldozed to the ground, less than 50 years after its construction. In this episode, we explore the house's lasting legacy, and how its tragic end mirrored that of its most famous owner. We also enter into Errol's tortured mindset by exploring his own haunting and sometimes gentle, almost poetic musings, from his autobiography, "My Wicked, Wicked Ways." Between 1941 and 1985, three famous men - all with stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame - have owned and lived in the house, but none surpass the legend of the original owner, the charismatic and dangerous Errol Flynn.   It's been a wild ride with Errol - thanks for being here and supporting the "Errol Flynn Slept Here" series! Let's continue with the book "Errol Flynn Slept Here" by Robert Matzen and Micheal Mazzone. It's time for Ch. 9, "Consumed by Mulholland." The famous Mulholland Farm, the house that Errol Flynn built in the early 1940s high in the Hollywood Hills, has now had TWO famous owners - Errol himself and Country music legend Stuart Hamblen. In this episode, both have since left the Farm, and now it's the early 1980's when famous Rock and TV star Ricky Nelson has moved his family in. Almost from the beginning, something doesn't seem right, and Ricky's marriage crumbles under the house's weight. Much like Errol did in his last years at Mulholland, Ricky has to work and tour constantly to keep up with the payments and the lifestyle the house offers. Soon a dark energy begins to consume Rick and his children, and years later, they tell the story of their Dad's decline into darkness. It's becoming more and more apparent that the charismatic man who built the farm has never really left...   Loving this Errol Flynn Series? I believe that Meghan Markle told her biggest lie when she was being interviewed by Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.
