Pro Fisherman Disqualified in Bass Tournament

Elite Series angler JT Thompkins has been disqualified from the Humminbird Bassmaster Elite Series at St. Lawrence River for failure to pass a truth verification examination. As a result, Thompkins will receive zero points toward Progressive Bassmaster Angler of the Year and Dakota Lithium Elite Series Rookie of the Year standings. The truth verification exam was administered during the event Friday, and Thompkins failed to pass exam sections that pertain to Rule C3 ii a and Rule C3 (xiv).
