Problem In-Laws

Today we’re talking about enmeshment—a pattern that quietly strains many marriages. Enmeshment is when the boundaries between family members become blurred or almost non-existent. It’s when parents or in-laws remain so emotionally involved that a married couple struggles to form their own identity as “one flesh.” Closeness is good, but enmeshment crosses into control and keeps a couple from the freedom God intended.
