Sie studierte Kognitions- und Neurowissenschaften, u. a. an der McGill University in Montreal, und wurde am University College London in Neurowissenschaften promoviert. 2016 gründete sie das Online-Magazin „Perspective Daily“ für Konstruktiven Journalismus mit. Sie leitete die Redaktion bis März 2019 als Chefredakteurin und war Geschäftsführerin. Ihr erstes Buch „Schluss mit dem täglichen Weltuntergang“ (Droemer 2019) ist ein SPIEGEL-Bestseller.
