Profiles: Charcoal Golf

Mark Rivard, the artist behind Charcoal Golf joins Mike and Tim on the Break80 Podcast this week. Mark brings golf course architecture and holes to life through a blend of charcoal, watercolor, sharpie and colored pencils to create a mixed-media and urban twist on classic golf architecture. In this episode, Mark takes us through how he got into both art and golf, and how that eventually led to the creation of Charcoal Golf. Golf art seems to be having a moment, and Mark provides one of the more unique versions of golf art out there. He will talk about projects at Prairie Dunes, Landmand and Sweetens Cove, as well as a special limited run print of Bethpage Black's 18th hole, just in time for the Ryder Cup.
