Nocturne Records va ser una companyia discogràfica fundada per la bateria Roy Harte i el baixista Harry Babasin en 1954. Nocturne estava ubicada a Hollywood, Califòrnia i es centra en l’estil West Coast jazz. El 28 de març de 1955, Nocturne es va fusionar amb Liberty Records i va editar un catàleg de jazz, entre ellas, la sèrie de "Jazz in Hollywood". Babasin, president de Nocturne, estava per supervisar el repertori, anteriorment, Roy Harte va cofundar Pacific Jazz Records el 1952. El 1988, Fresh Sound va reeditar una caixa recopilatòria en CD titulat The Complete Nocturne Recordings: Jazz in Hollywood Series.
