PROGRESSION:  The Wednesday Word #WednesdayWisdom  noun DEFINITION: the process of developing or moving gradually towards a more advanced state. a succession; a series.  ETYMOLOGY: “forward walk”  late Middle English: from Old French, from Latin progressio(n- ), from the verb progredi (see progress).  PROGRESS - late Middle English (as a noun): from Latin progressus ‘an advance’, from the verb progredi, from pro- ‘forward’ + gradi ‘to walk’.   ACTION IDEA:  What does the phrase progress not perfection mean to you?
