Episode 1, Season 3: The Living Full Out Show with Nancy Solari understands the power of forgiveness and how it greatly impacts our lives. There may be times when we are placed under certain circumstances, which are unfair or cruel and in that very moment compassion seems to be far from us. We must recognize that we are human and we have faults. Try to remember that there is good in people and sometimes all we need is a second chance to prove we have learned from our mistakes.Our first caller is Luke he wants to help his girlfriend through her depression and anxiety. Listen in as Nancy encourages him to be her sounding board and to let her know that she is loved. To also make sure to maintain depth in their relationship and always have communication.The second caller Kayla attends school far from home and can’t always see her family, they make her feel guilty for it. Tune in as Nancy advices her to plan future dates with her family to be able to spend quality time with them. Nancy also offers suggestions such as Skype or face time if she can’t physically be there. Our Inspirational guest Missy Jenkins Smith was victim of the Heath High School shooting in Kentucky. After her prayer group finished a 14 year-old boy took out a gun and began to shoot. Missy was shot in her left shoulder, which then hit her lung, spinal cord and came out through her right side. She felt no hate or anger, she was just grateful she was alive. In that her shooter survived years later she went to go see him. This gave her the clarity to forgive him for paralyzing her. She is happy to be fortunate to share her story and inspire others to continue on with their lives regardless of their limitations.The last caller Alysah recently went through a break-up and is trying not to hold on to her anger. Hear how Nancy motivates her to look to the future and to learn from this relationship, to make sure she’s not so hard on herself. Nancy reminds her that this has made her stronger and has given her closure to that relationship.Not allowing negativity or hate to consume our lives is liberating and blissful. It’s important to understand that when we forgive, it’s not just for those who have done harm to us, but more for our self-peace of mind.
