Send us Fan MailS02E02: Prosperity: God’s perspectiveHost: Charles ZutaIn this Episode, we discuss how the bible defines prosperity and God’s perspective on prosperity. Title:  God’s Plan and Purpose for Success.Introduction:The Apostle John wrote in his third epistle, 3 John 2 that he wishes his friend will ‘prosper’ and be in health as his soul is prospering. Since the biblical definition of ‘prospering’ includes being successful. I am therefore using success in this context, as synonymous to prosperity. Unfortunately, the teaching of prosperity in the church stirs up so much controversy, to the point of it being labelled as promoting greed and excess, sometimes rightly so. The discussion of the topic of prosperity in church therefore raises several questions including: How do we define prosperity? is prosperity really bad, does God endorse and want us to prosper? As usual, we will turn to scriptures for answers to these and many other questions we may have. Fortunately, The bible is very clear about God’s plan and purpose and boundaries of our relationship with prosperity.  In these series of Episodes, I am joined by guests to discuss various topics relating to how God views prosperity, wealth, and riches and how we can relate to them the way God envisaged.Support the show
