Watching Usagi and the Sailor Guardians race to protect her from Rubeus and all four Spectre Sisters turns into an incredible magical girl showdown, but it’s the sweeter moments that really got us. Chibiusa finally realizes that Sailor Moon is someone she can trust, while Wiseman discovers the connection between Usagi and Neo-Queen Serenity. We may have already known that Usagi is Chibiusa’s future mom, but seeing that relationship begin to take shape still blew our minds, especially with the mystery surrounding why future Usagi appears to be sick, unconscious, or possibly even dead.
