Before today’s plans become today’s pressures, there is a simple choice we can make. We can begin by depending only on ourselves, or we can begin by placing this day into God’s hands. None of us knows everything this day will bring, but we do know the One who will walk through every moment with us. So before we take another step, let’s begin together in prayer. Scripture (NIV) “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of a new beginning. Today we place our plans, our work, our conversations and our hopes into Your loving hands. Teach us to trust You even when we cannot see the whole journey ahead. Keep us from relying only on our own understanding, and help us to recognise Your guidance in both the ordinary and the unexpected moments of this day. Let Your wisdom shape our decisions, Your peace steady our hearts and Your presence remind us that we never walk alone. Fear will not win, because the Lord faithfully leads those who place their trust in Him. May the Lord guide your steps today, strengthen your heart and fill your journey with His perfect peace.
