Send us your feedback — we’re listening Psalm 121:1–2 — My Help Comes From the Lord: A Morning Prayer for Protection and Courage Live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Three Prayer Themes: Help • Protection • Courage SCRIPTURE — Psalm 121:1–2 (NIV) “I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord…” There are mornings when you open your eyes and already feel the weight of what lies ahead. Perhaps you are thinking about a decision, a responsibility, a conversation, or simply wondering how you will get through everything waiting for you today. But before you look at the mountain, look to the One who stands above it. Jesus, this morning we lift our eyes towards You. We bring You the things that make us anxious, the things we cannot control, and the things we do not yet understand. You are not distant from us. You are our help, our keeper and our refuge. We pray today for people in the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan and South Africa. Wherever this prayer is being heard, meet Your people in the ordinary details of their day. Holy Spirit, steady anxious hearts. Give courage where fear has taken hold, and remind us that we do not have to carry today alone. Jesus, walk with us through every conversation, every journey and every challenge. Let Your presence become more real to us than the things we fear. So today we look up before we move forward. Our help comes from You. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Blessing: May the Lord watch over you today, strengthen your heart and give you courage for every step.
