Yet God’s Word gently encourages us to lift our eyes a little higher. Before we carry today’s concerns into the evening, let’s pause together, open the Scriptures and remember where our true help has always come from.  Psalm 121:1–2 (NIV) “I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” The Lord has been faithfully walking beside us through every conversation, every challenge and every unexpected moment of this day. Even when we have not noticed His hand, He has never stopped watching over us. His strength has quietly sustained us, His mercy has continually surrounded us and His faithfulness remains unchanged. Father, thank You for being our constant help and our unfailing refuge. Thank You that we never have to carry life’s burdens in our own strength because You lovingly invite us to place them into Your hands. Lord Jesus, strengthen every weary heart today. Bring healing to those who are unwell, comfort to those who are grieving, wisdom to those facing important decisions and fresh hope to everyone who feels discouraged. Lift our eyes above today’s pressures and remind us that our confidence is found in You alone. Holy Spirit, renew our hearts, deepen our trust and help us finish this day with gratitude, peace and quiet confidence in Your faithful care. Across the world, from Adelaide to Queenstown, from Singapore to Denver and Rio de Janeiro, may every listener discover fresh strength, renewed hope and the deep assurance that their help comes from the Lord.
