Some prayers have already been answered today, while others are still waiting in God’s perfect timing. Before we close our eyes tonight, let’s remember a truth that has comforted believers for generations. The God who faithfully walked with us throughout this day will continue to watch over us through the night. His care does not end when our strength does. While we rest, His loving attention never fades. Scripture (NIV) “The LORD will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” — Psalm 121:7–8 Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithful care from the first moments of this morning until this quiet hour tonight. We place ourselves, our families and those we love into Your gracious hands. Calm every anxious thought, settle every restless heart and help us release tomorrow into Your keeping. Thank You that Your watchful eye never leaves Your children and that Your loving presence remains with us through every hour. Grant us peaceful sleep, renewed strength and confident hope, knowing that the God who has carried us today will faithfully lead us again tomorrow. We rest tonight in the certainty of Your unfailing love. Fear will not win, because the Lord faithfully watches over His people both now and forevermore. May the Lord watch over you tonight, grant you peaceful rest and gently remind you that His faithful love never sleeps.
